Technique Painting itself is colored inks on silk.
Mounting Size Entire "kakejiku" (hanging scroll) is 20 1/4 x 67 1/2 overall.
Mounting Details Yellowish silk (artwork) mounted against gold patterned silk; gold "ichimonji" brocade top/bottom; BONE end-pieced bottom roller.
Condition Good. Artwork itself is in nearly excellent condition (tiny stain upper lert edge); scroll has re-attached bottom roller, thinning to top 5 inches of silk backing.
Comments A nicely executed painting of a flowering plum tree, with tiny nightingale perched on a branch--nicely mounted as a hanging scroll. A unique, true one-of-a-kind artwork.
