Technique Painting itself is colored pigments on light tan silk--exquisitely rendered. An exceptional piece.
Mounting Size Entire "kakejiku" (hanging scroll) is 19 1/2 x 72 overall.
Mounting Details Light tanish silk (artwork) mounted against green silk; thoughtfully mounted without the addition of "ichimonji" trim or hanging "futai" at top; BONE end-pieced bottom roller.
Condition Very Good+++.
(Light scattered foxing; light wear--otherwise flawless. Quite clean. Nearly wrinkle-free, hangs nicely.)
Comments A beautifully hand-painted artwork, with wonderful shading to wisteria's flowers and foliage--nicely mounted as a hanging scroll. A unique, truly one-of-a-kind artwork.
