Comments |
A boldly designed large format ("double-oban") Matterhorn image.
Seldom seen--impressively large format and difficult to print.
One of Hiroshi's larger lifetime prints (quite difficult to print)--of which only about 50 prints were ever
printed by the Yoshida Studio.
"Ink-brushed" by Hiroshi into lower margin as a gift
"To my friend Lt. Col. Horton, Tokio June 8th, 1946."
An early, rarely seen print.
