Impression |
Very fine. Nice "bokashi" shading to face, foliage, left background; widespread "burnishing" to black mat and vertical edge; extensive cross-hatched "cheese-cloth gauffrage" to upper right background and rolled tissue end; over-printed hair to produce layers; crisp, highly detailed carving of individual hairlines. |
Condition |
Good. Excellent colors, some bleeding of reds. Other minor marks, soiling, and wear. Rubbing and edge damage upper right corner. Trimmed only to image 3 edges, thinly backed with Japanese paper. |
