| Impression |
Very Fine. Wonderfully executed "bokashi" shading; light "gauffrage" (embossing) to horizon
and building; highly detailed carving, crisp lines. |
| Condition |
Excellent. Excellent colors. Clean front and verso. (Minor surface scratch--otherwise
flawless.) A few scattered "natural paper fiber" irregularities (normal for early 1930's paper). |
| Reference/Illus |
Blair's 1936 "Toldedo Exhibition" pl. #287. |
| Comments |
A classic "shin hanga" print of the Toledo Exhibition. (Lacks "first edition verso seal"--but early.)
Not often seen. |
