Impression Very Fine. Superbly executed "bokashi" shading throughout; light "gauffrage" (embossing); distinctively visible "woodgrain" to sky area; highly detailed carving.
Condition Excellent. Fresh, bold colors. Very clean front and verso. (Light toning; possibly some very slight wear.) All prints from this 1948-49 collection have never been displayed -- stored flat past 71 years.

Comments A striking evening scene dating to 1936 and collected 1948-49. A moonlit Hasui design with distinctfully visible "woodgrain" seen in sky area.
