Impression Very Fine. Wonderfully executed "bokashi" shading; extensive "gauffrage"
(embossing) to cherry blossoms; nicely detailed carving, crisp lines.
Condition Nearly Excellent. Excellent colors. Clean front and verso. (Light toning; few surface scratches; slight waviness; very slight wear.)

Comments A beautifully illuminated and evocative night scene. A classic "shin hanga" print of the 1930 Toledo Exhibition and among the finest images of the period. (Lacks "first edition verso seal"--but early.)
Rarely seen vintage print.
