Comments |
A delightful image of a playful kitten who has chased a small mouse into hiding inside this paper lantern.
(Printed from superbly and accurately re-cut blocks after WWII; this print was originally exhibited at
the First Japanese National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1886.) A superb example showing the "mastery of light"
for which Kiyochika is so well known. |
