Impression Very Fine. Skillfully executed "bokashi" shading throughout print; very life-like depiction of waves; "baren sujizuri"
(tracings) to orange torri; life-like shadowing; highly detailed carving, crisp lines. (Very slight ink-smudging lower/right edge.)
Condition Excellent.
Clean front and verso.
(Light toning; faint stain lower/left margin; very slight wear.)

Comments Softly colored springtime castle scene. Excellent colors. Not often seen. (Earlier printing than Narazaki and Hotei examples.)
