Provenance Private placement. Consigned by the estate of a USA military serviceman in Japan late 1940's.
Image Size Painting size: 16 3/8 x 43 1/4.
Technique Painting itself is colored pigments on light creamish silk paper; nicely over-splashed with "gofun" as falling snow.
Mounting Size Entire "kakejiku" (hanging scroll) is 21 5/8 x 72 1/2 overall.
Mounting Details Light creamish silk (artwork) mounted on gold flower-patterned silk; tastefully mounted without "ichimonji" or "futai"; BONE
end-pieced bottom roller.
Condition Excellent (No flaws noted.)
Very clean and wrinkle-free. Hangs very nicely.
